Les Corts Valencianes han empezado la sesión plenaria de hoy con las ausencias destacadas del ex portavoz del grupo popular, Ricardo Costa, y del president de la Generalitat, Francisco Camps, y con el banco azul del Gobierno valenciano vacío, a excepción del conseller de Inmigración, Rafael Blasco.
El escaño de Costa, que se mantiene justo detrás del que le corresponde a Camps, permanece vacío y, fuentes del partido han indicado que el ex portavoz parlamentario está descansando, después de que ayer fuera destituido de la portavocía y de la secretaría general del PP de la Comunitat Valenciana (PPCV), y previsiblemente el lunes se reincorporará a la actividad política.
Uno de los primeros en llegar al hemiciclo ha sido el sustituto de Costa en la secretaría general del PP de la Comunitat Valenciana (PPCV), César Augusto Asencio, quien ha atendido numerosas llamadas telefónicas, e incluso la presidenta de Les Corts, Milagrosa Martínez, le ha pedido antes de iniciar la sesión que bajara "un poquito el volumen".

Asencio ha sido el objetivo de los fotógrafos, igual que el nuevo portavoz parlamentario, Rafael Maluenda, quien ayer no quiso hacer declaraciones a los medios de comunicación sobre su nueva responsabilidad, aunque está previsto que sí lo haga hoy.
En el momento de empezar pleno, poco después de las diez de la mañana, en el banco azul destinado al Gobierno valenciano sólo estaba el conseller de Inmigración y Ciudadanía, Rafael Blasco, a quien correspondía intervenir en el primer punto para defender el proyecto de ley de Ciudadanía Corporativa.
