Daniel Brühl sueña con un Ferrari como el que conduce en el filme en el que encarna al piloto austríaco de Fórmula 1 Niki Lauda, pero vivir en Berlín le ha hecho desistir de momento de esa idea, reveló el actor germano-español en una entrevista al diario "Die Welt" en su edición de Pascua.
"Lamentablemente no tengo garaje, y un coche así hay que cuidarlo bien. En Berlín prenden fuego a los coches", dijo el artista, que vive a caballo entre la capital alemana -donde en el verano pasado ardieron más de 700 vehículos en una oleada de incendios premeditados- y Barcelona.
Afortunadamente, sus tres coches no han sido pasto de las llamas, a pesar de ser potencialmente inflamables.
"Tengo un Audi, un viejo Alfa Romeo Giulia y un Peugeot 204 descapotable. Están perfectamente", señaló el actor, de 33 años.
Pero no sólo los pirómanos le preocupan, sino también la situación actual del cine alemán, reconoce en la entrevista.
"Actualmente es frustrante", afirmó el actor, quien agregó que al inicio de su carrera "estaba orgulloso de formar parte del cine alemán" y pensaba que "las buenas películas continuarían".
El artista, que dijo echar de menos películas de ciencia ficción en la industria cinematográfica alemana, se mostró no obstante optimista y seguro de que la situación "ya se arreglará".
Además de estar inmerso en el rodaje de la película "Rush", del director estadounidense Ron Howard y en la que se mete en el papel del legendario Lauda, encuentra tiempo para trabajar en un libro de viajes sobre Barcelona.
