Cinco personas sospechosas de pertenecer a una célula terrorista que operaba entre Marruecos y España han sido detenidas desde principios de esta semana en el país magrebí.
Los cinco están acusados de pertenecer al movimiento islamista radical Salafía Yihadía ("Autenticidad y Guerra Santa") y fueron presentados hoy ante la Justicia en la ciudad marroquí de Casablanca, agregaron las fuentes.
Según las mismas, al menos tres miembros de ese grupo, igualmente acusado de tráfico de droga y de vehículos entre España y Marruecos, poseían la nacionalidad española.
Los detenidos vivían en Ceuta y el jefe de esa presunta banda, que responde al seudónimo de Abú Yacine, nació en Tetuán en 1975 y ya había sido detenido en 2006 en el desmantelamiento de la red "Ansar al Mahdi, acusada de preparar atentados contra administrciones públicas, embajadas extranjeras y personalidades marroquíes
Según las fuentes, Yacine fue condenado a dos años de prisión por delitos terroristas y fue liberado en julio de 2008.
Su presentación ante la Justicia tiene lugar apenas un mes después de la de ocho presuntos miembros de la célula terrorista "Jamar al Murabitin al Jodod" el pasado 12 de mayo ante el Tribunal de Apelación de Casablanca.
El juez de instrucción encargado de asuntos de terrorismo ordenó la prisión preventiva contra esos ocho acusados por "constitución de banda criminal para preparar y cometer actos terroristas vinculados a un proyecto colectivo para atentar gravemente contra el orden público a través del terror, la intimidación y la violencia".
