Tres policías rusos fuera de servicio fueron despedidos el lunes por conducir en estado de ebriedad por la Plaza Roja de Moscú a primera hora de la mañana vestidos con sus uniformes de policía.
"Un examen médico reveló que los tres policías estaban ebrios", explicó la policía de la ciudad de Moscú en un comunicado sobre el incidente, que ocurrió el viernes.
"Han empañado el honor y la dignidad de los agentes de policía", dijo.
Los rusos son una de las poblaciones masculinas más aficionadas a la bebida y los expertos en demografía siempre relacionan el alto consumo de alcohol con la baja esperanza de vida de los varones rusos.
La imagen de la aerolínea subsidiaria de Aeroflot, Aeroflot-Nord, se vio dañada a principios de este año cuando uno de sus pilotos, que estrelló un avión en los Urales matando a 88 personas a bordo, dio positivo en el test de alcoholemia.
