Las deudas contraídas por las familias españolas para la adquisición de una vivienda ascendían en febrero a 672.288 millones de euros, el 0,1 por ciento menos que en enero, con lo que la cifra se reduce por tercer mes consecutivo, según los últimos datos del Banco de España.
En diciembre de 2008 la deuda de los hogares españoles para este fin se redujo hasta 673.153 millones de euros desde los 673.685 de noviembre, y en enero se situó en 673.014 millones de euros.
En los últimos doce meses la deuda de las familias para adquisición de vivienda se ha incrementado el 3,1 por ciento, la cuarta parte del 12,2 por ciento que se incrementó entonces respecto a febrero de 2007.
Los datos de febrero sitúan esta cantidad en niveles de octubre del año pasado, cuando alcanzó su cota máxima de 672.182 millones de euros.
El conjunto de las deudas acumuladas por las familias residentes en España con bancos, cajas y cooperativas para cualquier fin, no sólo para la adquisición de vivienda, ascendía en febrero a 905.760 millones de euros, el 2,6 por ciento más que un año antes pero el 0,2 por ciento menos que en enero, y el 1 por ciento menos que en noviembre, cuando alcanzó un máximo de 915.357 millones de euros.
