El presidente de la CEOE, Gerardo Díaz Ferrán, insistió hoy en la necesidad de una reforma del mercado laboral y tildó de "espejismo" la bajada del paro registrado en julio, ya que aumentará posiblemente en agosto y, "desde luego", en otoño.
En un entrevista con Onda Cero, Díaz Ferrán sostuvo que el Gobierno "levantó a todos" -sindicatos y empresarios- de la mesa del diálogo social, que hace dos semanas acabó sin acuerdo, y defendió que la patronal siempre ha considerado necesarias reformas estructurales como la laboral.
"No queremos dinero", dijo el presidente de la CEOE en referencia a la rebaja de cuotas de la Seguridad Social que los agentes sociales y el Gobierno debatieron en los últimos meses.
Ante la "urgencia" de acometer una reforma laboral que "ya se tenía que haber hecho" en España, Díaz Ferrán recordó que sólo el Gobierno tiene la competencia de impulsarla.
Después de que en Castilla-La Mancha se haya aprobado un pacto de diálogo social, el presidente de la patronal destacó que se están firmando acuerdos en comunidades autónomas con gobiernos de diferentes tendencias, que no tienen las competencias para legislar el mercado laboral pero sí pueden actuar en los diversos sectores económicos.
