El copropietario del Grupo Marsans y presidente de la CEOE, Gerardo Díaz Ferrán, presentará esta tarde nuevas garantías a Caja Madrid, a través de su socio Gonzalo Pascual, para tratar de cerrar un acuerdo tras el impago de un crédito de 26,5 millones.
Según informaron a Efe fuentes cercanas a Díaz Ferrán, esta tarde el director general de Negocio de Caja Madrid, Matías Amat, se reunirá con Pascual, quien le expondrá garantías adicionales que, las mismas fuentes, consideran que serán "suficientes" para respaldar el crédito pedido para el Grupo Marsans.
Aunque no quisieron concretar de qué tipo de garantías se tratarían, adelantaron que hay "dos o tres" posibilidades.
Si Caja Madrid las aceptara, la entidad presidida aún por Miguel Blesa ya no tendría razones para iniciar el proceso de ejecución de los avales presentados por los empresarios, con lo que ambos mantendrían "a buen resguardo" sus patrimonios.
