Un chalet unifamiliar ubicado entre los núcleos poblacionales de Almonte y El Rocío (Huelva) visible desde la carretera A-483 ha servido a los presuntos secuestradores de Rafael Ávila para mantenerlo cautivo durante unos quince días.
Según han informado a Efe fuentes municipales, el chalet del que esta madrugada ha sido liberado el empresario gaditano, donde se encontraba atado con cadenas y custodiado por dos personas -ya detenidas- se encuentra al margen izquierdo de la citada carretera en dirección Almonte-Rocío frente a una gasolinera.
Se trata de una casa rural propiedad, según han indicado, "de gente de fuera" y que está aislada, no habiendo en las proximidades ningún otro chalet.
Pese a estar a la vista y ser la A-483 una carretera de mucho tránsito, al parecer "nadie se ha percatado de lo que podía estar pasando en su interior", han precisado.
La liberación de Rafael Ávila se ha llevado a cabo esta madrugada por miembros de los Geos, y en la operación resultaron detenidas, además de las personas que custodiaban al empresario, otras dos en Sevilla consideradas cabecillas del grupo que ha perpetrado el secuestro.
La desaparición de Ávila fue denunciada por su padre el pasado miércoles día 3 al no acudir el empresario a dormir a su casa.
