Eslovenia y la compañía farmacéuticabritánica GlaxoSmithKline acordaron reducir en un 30 por cientola cantidad de vacunas contra la influenza pandémica H1N1 queel país comprará al laboratorio, informó el jueves elMinisterio de Salud esloveno.
El recorte implica unas 240.000 unidades, aunque elministerio no brindó el valor del acuerdo.
Eslovenia ordenó el año pasado un total de 800.000 vacunasde Glaxo, sin dar detalles del precio de la transacción, ycompró otras 10.000 vacunas a la empresa estadounidenseBaxter.
Hasta el momento, unos 103.500 eslovenos fueron inmunizadoscontra la gripe pandémica, pero en las últimas semanas lademanda de vacunas cayó debido a que las infeccionesdisminuyeron.
En total, 13 personas eslovenas murieron como consecuenciadel virus H1N1. El último deceso en el país se registró acomienzos de diciembre.
