La vicepresidenta del Gobierno, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, ha anunciado hoy la adopción de medidas en el ámbito del biodiésel, en respuesta a la decisión de las autoridades de Argentina de expropiar el 51 por ciento de YPF, la filial de la española Repsol.
Sáenz de Santamaría ha hecho este anuncio en la rueda de prensa posterior a la reunión del Consejo de ministros, en la que se han analizado las medidas que piensa poner en marcha el Ejecutivo ante esa expropiación.
En ese contexto, la vicepresidenta ha señalado que el ministro de Industria, José Manuel Soria, ha planteado una orden ministerial que se conoce como "la del biodiésel" que será firmada hoy y publicada mañana en el BOE.
Aunque los detalles de esta medidas serán detallados por el Gobierno, en su intervención inicial la vicepresidenta ha explicado que se trata de "un sistema de medidas equivalentes que tiene por objeto establecer la circunstancia en que se logrará esa medida de efecto equivalente cuando se adquiera biodiesel de aquellas empresas que tengan ciertas autorizaciones y que deban estar situadas en el territorio español o comunitario".
Según ella, "esta es una acción que logrará un apoyo a esas operaciones de refino por parte de empresas españolas o comunitarias y que busca colocarlas en una situación adecuada para poder prestar ese biodiesel en condiciones que lo hagan competitivo".
El mes pasado, la industria española de biodiesel reclamó al Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo que publicara la normativa de asignación de biodiesel para frenar las importaciones que consideran desleales por parte de Argentina e Indonesia y que están afectando al sector.
