España y Corea potenciarán desde hoy y hasta mañana en Córdoba sus relaciones bilaterales en materia política, cultural, económica, deportiva y educativa en el marco de la VI Tribuna que celebran ambos países.
El presidente de la Korea Foundation, Yim Sung-joon, ha presentado en rueda de prensa este evento en el que se celebrarán cuatro sesiones también sobre campos como la logística, la energía, la tecnología, la igualdad de género, política y seguridad.
La VI Tribuna España-Corea tiene prevista la participación del secretario de Estado de Asuntos Exteriores, Ángel Losada; de la consejera para la Igualdad y el Bienestar Social de la Junta, Micaela Navarro; del ex presidente de la Generalitat de Cataluña Jordi Pujol y varios asistentes como la directora del Instituto Cervantes, Carmen Caffarel, o el embajador de España en Seúl, Juan Leña.
Por parte de la delegación coreana participarán una veintena de asistentes entre los que destacan Sung-joon; el embajador de Corea en España, Cho Tae-yul, el viceministro de Planificación y Organización del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Comercio, Lim Jae-hong, y varios miembros de la Asamblea Nacional de Corea.
El presidente de la Korea Foundation ha señalado que España es "uno de los socios más importantes" para Corea a nivel europeo y ha valorado el establecimiento de lazos económicos, políticos y culturales entre ambos países.
Para Sung-joon, esta tribuna es un vehículo importante para potenciar la colaboración entre España y Corea, y que "sea más estrecha en el futuro".
Por su parte, el alcalde de Córdoba, Andrés Ocaña, ha resaltado la importancia que tiene para la ciudad la celebración de este encuentro, ya que esta tribuna le sirve para reforzar su identidad como lugar de encuentro, diálogo y de conocimiento mutuo.
La sexta edición de la Tribuna España-Corea se enmarca dentro del aniversario de la conmemoración de los 60 años del establecimiento de las relaciones diplomáticas entre España y la República de Corea, la presidencia coreana del G-20 y el programa de cooperación en los ámbitos de la educación y la cultura.
