El delantero camerunés Samuel Eto'o intentará batir otro récord de goles en la Copa Africana de Naciones, cuando su selección nacional se enfrente el miércoles (1600 GMT) a Gabón.
Será el tercer partido entre ambos equipos en los últimos cuatro meses, después de que Camerún ganara los dos encuentros previos.
Eto'o ya posee el récord de más de goles marcados en la competición, con 16 tantos en las últimas cinco ediciones del torneo, pero la semana pasada dijo que quería establecer una nueva marca con el mayor número de tantos en una sola edición del torneo.
Ese récord pertenece al delantero de Zaire Mulumba Ndaye, que marcó nueve goles en la Copa Africana de 1974.
Por su parte, un renovado equipo de Túnez intentará dejar atrás la frustración por no haberse clasificado al Mundial de Sudáfrica cuando inicie su campaña contra Zambia en Lubango (1830), en el otro partido del Grupo D.
