La facturación del sector servicios cayó en febrero el 20,5 por ciento respecto a un año antes, mientras que el empleo lo hizo el 5,9 por ciento, lo que supone los mayores descensos registrados por segundo mes consecutivo desde que empezó a elaborarse la estadística en 2003.
Según los datos difundidos hoy por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), si se elimina el efecto calendario, la cifra de negocio en el sector servicios bajó el 18,7 por ciento en febrero respecto al mismo mes del año anterior.
Todos los sectores redujeron la facturación en febrero, entre los que destaca el comercio, donde retrocedió el 23,5 por ciento, seguido del transporte (19 por ciento), los servicios a empresas (14,2 por ciento), el turismo (14 por ciento) y las tecnologías de la información (7,5 por ciento).
También el empleo disminuyó en todos los sectores, especialmente en los servicios a empresas, que lo hizo el 8,5 por ciento en febrero respecto a igual mes de 2008.
