La escudería Ferrari ha decidido acudir a la Justicia francesa por considerar que el presidente de la FIA, Max Mosley, no ha respetado los Pactos de la Concordia, firmados en el 2005, al no acordar con los equipos los cambios reglamentarios que quiere introducir a partir de la próxima temporada del Mundial de Fórmula Uno.
Ferrari, que esta semana ha amenazado con no inscribirse en el próximo Mundial si la FIA sigue adelante con su idea de marcar un límite presupuestario voluntario, ha decidido llevar a Mosley ante los tribunales, ha informado el propio presidente de la FIA al abandonar la reunión con la asociación de equipos (FOTA).
"Ferrari ha elevado una petición a la Justicia francesa para solicitar un mandato judicial que nos impida hacer lo que queremos hacer", explicó Mosley.
Ferrari pide también que los juzgados franceses ordenen a la FIA eliminar de su web todas las modificaciones correspondientes a la normativa del próximo año.
Dado que la FIA ha establecido el 29 de mayo como fecha máxima para que los equipos se inscriban para participar en la temporada 2010, el abogado de Ferrari, Emmanuel Gaillard, explicó las razones de la demanda.
"Debemos inscribirnos entre el 22 y el 29 de mayo, y eso supone aceptar la nueva normativa. Pero esas reglas no se ajustan a los compromisos establecidos con Ferrari. No teníamos otra opción", declaró Gailard.
La vista será el martes 19 de mayo en París, ciudad en la que la FIA tiene su sede.
