Un portavoz de la FIFA ha confirmado hoy que este organismo ha recibido una queja formal procedente del Manchester United, en relación al presunto interés continuado del Real Madrid por hacerse con los servicios del delantero portugués Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Puedo confirmar que hemos recibido una solicitud oficial por parte del Manchester United para que estudiemos este asunto. Acabamos de recibir los documentos, por lo que necesitamos algo de tiempo para analizarlos antes de tomar alguna decisión", indicó el portavoz a la agencia de noticias británica Press Association (PA).
El técnico de los "diablos rojos", el escocés Alex Ferguson, ya hizo público hace días su disgusto ante la presunta actitud perseverante del Real Madrid hacia el jugador portugués.
El club de Old Trafford confirmó hoy en su página oficial que había remitido una queja oficial a la FIFA por lo que considera una persecución de la entidad española a Ronaldo.
El pasado 27 de mayo, la entidad inglesa ya dejó clara su intención de denunciar el caso a la FIFA si el club español continuaba involucrándose en el futuro del extremo luso, quien tiene contrato con el Manchester United.
El Real Madrid ha manifestado en repetidas ocasiones durante las pasadas semanas su admiración por los servicios del goleador luso, quien por su parte ha expresado veladamente el deseo de jugar en el el equipo madridista.
El Manchester, según apunta en su página oficial de internet, dada la implicación del Madrid en este asunto, "tiene la sensación de que no le queda otra alternativa que la de emitir una queja formal a la máxima autoridad mundial en este deporte (la FIFA), algo que se ha hecho hoy".
