El Fondo Monetario Internacional subió el martes las previsiones de crecimiento global en 2010 ante una recuperación económica más fuerte que la prevista.
En su última versión de las Perspectivas Económicas Mundiales, el FMI dijo que la economía mundial crecerá un 3,9 por ciento en 2010 frente al 3,1 previsto en octubre.
Además, informó de que la economía el año que viene crecerá un 4,3 por ciento.
En cuanto a España, las previsiones del Fondo muestran que será la única economía avanzada que se contraerá este año, concretamente un 0,6 por ciento.
Para 2009, la proyección es de una contracción del 3,6 por ciento en España, una décima mejor de lo que preveía en octubre, mientras que para 2011 prevé un crecimiento del 0,9 por ciento.
Por su parte, la ministra española de Economía, Elena Salgado, aseguró que las previsiones del Ejecutivo son "más optimistas".
"Nosotros somos un poco más optimistas. Moderadamente optimistas para el año 2010 y también para el año 2011", afirmó en unas declaraciones a periodistas realizadas en Bruselas.
