Un itinerario acústico que abarca desde la música antigua hasta el jazz de autor ha propuesto la Fundación del Patrimonio Histórico de Castilla y León dentro de una nueva edición del ciclo "Las piedras cantan", que se celebrará en castillos y catedrales entre el 9 de junio y el 1 de agosto.
Nueve conciertos, uno en cada provincia de Castilla y León, engrosa esta nueva entrega cultural que fusiona la música y el paisaje monumental que rodea a los escenarios, bienes culturales y artísticos restaurados por la Fundación del Patrimonio Histórico, han informado hoy fuentes de esta entidad sin ánimo de lucro.
Tres catedrales, dos tantos castillos, el claustro de un antiguo hospital, una basílica y dos iglesias son los recintos elegidos para esta nueva entrega de "Las Piedras Cantan" que abrirá este viernes el grupo Schola Antiqua en la basílica de San Vicente, en Ávila, con un repertorio de canto gregoriano.
El claustro del antiguo Hospital de San Agustín en El Burgo de Osma (Soria) acogerá el 15 de junio al dúo Al Aire con una selección de piezas de fusión latino-flamenca, y cinco días después el templo de Santa María del Azogue abrirá sus puertas en Benavente (Zamora) para recibir el jazz de Serrano & Lechner.
El 28 de junio se reanuda el ciclo en la catedral de Palencia con la música antigua y el barroco temprano italiano de laberinto Armónico, y Klezmática actuará el 6 de julio en la iglesia de san Juan en Castrojeriz (Burgos) con sones tradicionales balcánicos y de centroeuropa.
El jazz de autor de Eva Scott es la propuesta elegida para el 12 de julio en el castillo de Montealegre (Valladolid), al que seguirá la fortaleza de Coca (Segovia), el 18 de julio, con el rhythm and blues de Red House.
