El vicepresidente del Milán, Adriano Galliani, ha señalado que el FC Barcelona le ha autorizado a tratar con el delantero camerunés Samuel Eto'o, al que ya han hecho una oferta.
Galliani, en una entrevista con el diario deportivo "Gazzeta Sportiva", señaló que el Milán "está buscando un gran atacante y Eto'o figura entre ellos".
El representante del delantero, Josep María Mesalles, estuvo el pasado viernes en Milán (norte) para hablar con Galliani, quien mostró su satisfacción por el hecho de que el representante de Eto'o "nos haya dado la disponibilidad a un acuerdo".
Ante un posible fichaje del camerunés, Galliani indicó que, desde el punto de vista económico, hay que "echar las cuentas con una dura realidad" y es que Eto'o "gana ya tanto en el Barcelona y las ofertas no le faltan".
Galliani señaló que hay que darse cuenta de que con jugadores del nivel del delantero camerunés "la competencia es durísima. Las sociedades inglesas son muy competitivas".
"Deseaba saber si la ausencia (del Milán) en la Liga de Campeones era un problema: no", explicó el dirigente.
Por otra parte, el Chelsea ha autorizado el Milán a abrir una negociación con el delantero marfileño Didier Drogba, indicó el vicepresidente del equipo italiano.
Sin embargo, el club inglés informó al Milán de que el ucraniano Andriy Shevchenko, no es transferible respuesta que "nos ha entristecido mucho".
Otro jugador que podría interesar al Milán es el togolés Emmanuel Adebayor, pero precisó que no han realizado ningún contacto con su equipo, el Arsenal.
