El Gobierno adelantará la fecha de aprobación de la reforma de las pensiones al próximo 28 de enero para su posterior envío al Parlamento, donde se debatirá.
Durante la rueda de prensa posterior al Consejo de Ministros, el vicepresidente primero del Gobierno, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, confirmó así que adelanta la fecha para aprobar esta reforma que, en un principio, estaba previsto que se aprobase a lo largo del primer trimestre del año que viene.
El pasado miércoles, el ministro de Trabajo e Inmigración, Valeriano Gómez, durante su primera intervención en la comisión parlamentaria del Pacto de Toledo, dijo que la reforma de las pensiones se tiene que centrar en alargar la vida laboral, aumentar el cómputo para el cálculo de la prestación y reducir las prejubilaciones.
Gómez advirtió de que "no hay salida" a retrasar la edad de jubilación y que el Gobierno mantiene su propuesta de elevarla en dos años, de 65 a 67.
