El Gobierno incentivará a las entidades que más se impliquen en la financiación del Plan Estatal de Vivienda y Rehabilitación (PEVR) 2009-2012, según dijo hoy la ministra de Vivienda, Beatriz Corredor.
Durante una comparecencia a petición propia en la Comisión de Vivienda en el Senado, la ministra explicó que estos incentivos quedan detallados en un convenio que firmará de forma "eminente" con las entidades financieras y que persigue premiar la implicación en la financiación de los créditos del plan.
De hecho, anunció que la negociación del texto de dicho convenio ya ha finalizado y que mañana presentará el documento final a las asociaciones de bancos y cajas, para comenzar en los próximos días su tramitación efectiva.
La ministra recordó que los incentivos a la banca son la principal novedad del convenio de financiación del nuevo plan, en el que denomina entidades colaboradoras preferentes a aquellas que mayor importe dediquen al plan.
Para la puesta en marcha del plan de vivienda, aprobado por el Consejo de Ministros el pasado mes de diciembre, es necesaria la firma de los respectivos convenios con las comunidades autónomas.
De momento, el Ministerio de Vivienda sólo ha suscrito los convenios con la Generalitat de Cataluña, Baleares y Canarias, en tanto que mañana tiene previsto firmarlo con Ceuta.
