El grupo de los Hermanos Musulmanes en Egipto condenó hoy el asalto israelí a la "Flotilla de la Libertad" que transportaba ayuda humanitaria a Gaza y pidió a los países árabes que corten sus relaciones con los "sionistas".
Este movimiento islámico, que calificó en un comunicado la operación israelí de "criminal", instó a los pueblos árabes a que muestren su enfado y presionen a sus Gobiernos para que eviten que los israelíes lancen este tipo de ataques "inhumanos".
Según la televisión israelí Canal 10, al menos 14 personas murieron esta madrugada y decenas resultaron heridas en el asalto militar contra la flotilla, compuesta por seis barcos con más de 750 personas a bordo.
"Pedimos a los Gobiernos árabes y musulmanes, sobre todo a Egipto, que se muevan de una manera rápida y eficaz para prohibir el asesinato de los inocentes", indicó la organización, que solicitó, también expulsar a los embajadores israelíes de los países que tienen relaciones con el Estado hebreo.
Egipto y Jordania, que firmaron la paz con Israel en 1979 y 1994 respectivamente, mantienen plenas relaciones diplomáticas con Israel.
Además, los Hermanos Musulmanes, que mantienen unos estrechos vínculos con el grupo palestino Hamás, que controla la franja de Gaza, instan a la apertura "inmediata" del paso fronterizo de Rafah, que une Egipto con Gaza, y consideró que su cierre ha causado los incidentes de hoy.
Asimismo, responsabiliza a la ONU, que según el grupo, puede conducir a una guerra mundial, debido a la falta de sanciones contra Israel.
