El ministro de Economía y Competitividad, Luis De Guindos, se reunió hoy en Fráncfort con el presidente del Banco Central Europeo, Mario Draghi, a quien explicó las recientes reformas acometidas por el Gobierno español.
De Guindos se reunió con el máximo responsable del BCE en la capital financiera de Alemania, tras celebrar sucesivamente varios encuentros con inversores alemanes primero en la ciudad de Düsseldorf y seguidamente en Fráncfort, explicó a Efe una portavoz de su departamento.
A la reunión del responsable español de Economía y Competitividad con Dragui asistieron otros miembros de la ejecutiva del BCE como Joerg Asmussen, Benoit Coeure, José Manuel González-Paramo y Peter Praet, destaca un breve comunicado emitido en Fráncfort de manera conjunta por el BCE.
La breve nota de tres párrafos señala que todos ellos "hablaron de la situación económica y financiera en la eurozona y de los progresos del programa de reformas español", y subraya que se trata de la primera visita del ministro De Guindos al BCE desde que asumió el cargo en diciembre del 2011.
"El ministro ha querido explicar de primera mano a sus diferentes interlocutores las distintas reformas del Gobierno, desde la fiscal a la financiera, pasando por la laboral", dijo la portavoz del titular de Economía y Competitividad
La visita a Fráncfort culmina dos jornadas de intensos contactos del titular español de Economía y Competitividad, que el lunes celebró en París reuniones similares con un destacado grupo de inversores franceses.
El viaje de De Guindos a Francia y Alemania ha tenido lugar cuando el Tesoro Público ha colocado hoy 3.177 millones de euros en letras a 12 y 18 meses, con un interés marginal que casi duplica el aplicado en la anterior emisión de estas características y lo sitúa en su nivel más alto desde diciembre de 2011.
