El equipo español Halcón Avenida ha logrado esta tarde, en la ciudad rusa de Ekaterimburgo, su primera Euroliga de baloncesto femenino al vencer al Spartak de Moscú (68-59).
Las jugadoras de Salamanca siempre han estado por delante en el marcador, durante encuentro de la Final Four, aunque en los últimos cinco minutos las rusas se acercaron el marcador, sin lograr superar al Halcón Avenida.
Es la segunda final jugada por las españolas, ya que en el año 2009 también la jugaron contra el Spartak de Moscú, pero la perdió, en la Final Four que se jugó en Salamanca.
