El Hamburgo confirmó el sábado el fichaje del delantero holandés del Real Madrid Ruud van Nistelrooy tras llegar a un acuerdo para firmar un contrato de 18 meses de duración, informó el sábado el club de la Bundesliga.
"El delantero de 33 años firmará un contrato hasta el 30 de junio de 2011", dijo el club en su página web (www.hsv.de).
"Estoy muy feliz de que todo se hiciese y espero el lunes llegar a Hamburgo", aseguró por otro lado Van Nistelrooy.
"El Hamburgo es un club fantástico con un equipo fuerte y grandes ambiciones y yo también tengo grandes ambiciones", añadió.
Van Nistelrooy ha jugado 68 partidos en el Real Madrid desde su llegada en 2006, en los que ha marcado 46 goles. Sin embargo, tras recuperarse de una larga lesión no ha tenido continuidad en el equipo dirigido por el chileno Manuel Pellegrini.
El ex jugador del Manchester United también ha sido 64 veces internacional con Holanda.
