El delantero francés Thierry Henry no será sancionado por acomodar el balón con la mano en la jugada que dio el empate a su equipo en el 1-1 de la repesca para el Mundial disputado contra Irlanda en noviembre, informó el lunes la FIFA.
"El Comité Disciplinario llegó a la conclusión de que no había bases legales para que el comité considerara el caso ya que tocar el balón con la mano no puede considerarse como una seria violación como es estipulado en el artículo número 77 del Código Disciplinario de la FIFA", indicó un comunicado del organismo.
