La domadora del Gran Circo Mundial, una belga de 40 años, ha resultado hoy herida grave durante su función matinal en Madrid, al aplastarle la pierna con un colmillo un elefante de 5.000 kilos de peso que resbaló por motivos que se desconocen.
La mujer, esposa del domador del mismo circo, presenta una fractura abierta de tibia y peroné con pérdida de sustancia, ha informado a Efe un portavoz de Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid.
Según la fuente, a las 12.54 horas el 112 recibió una llamada de alguien del circo, situado en la avenida de Monforte de Lemos, en el madrileño barrio de La Vaguada, para pedir ayuda, ya que durante la representación de la mañana la domadora había tenido un accidente laboral con uno de los elefantes.
Por motivos que no han trascendido, el animal resbaló y, al perder el equilibrio, dio con la cabeza en el suelo y su colmillo impactó y aplastó la pierna derecha de la domadora.
Hasta la carpa se desplazó una UVI móvil del SUMMA, que atendió a la mujer y la trasladó al hospital de La Paz con pronóstico grave.
Según el portavoz de Emergencias, los espectadores de la función no repararon en el accidente.
