La neuróloga cubana Hilda Molina llegó hoy a Buenos Aires para reunirse con su familia tras quince años de separación por la negativa de las autoridades de la isla a permitir su salida del país.
Molina fue recibida con una calurosa bienvenida por su hijo, Roberto Quiñones, su nuera, y sus dos nietos, de 7 y 13 años, a quienes no conocía, en el aeropuerto internacional de Ezeiza.
"Gracias a Dios y a todos los que ayudaron para esto; estoy muy emocionada", comentó la médica cubana, en breves declaraciones a los periodistas que esperaban en el aeropuerto.
En las próximas horas, Molina acudirá al hospital donde se encuentra ingresada su madre, Hilda Morejón, de 90 años, quien recibió autorización de Cuba para viajar a Argentina el pasado año, tras intensas negociaciones del Gobierno de Cristina Fernández.
A su salida de La Habana, el sábado, Molina declaró que abandonaba Cuba sin guardar "ningún" rencor al ex presidente Fidel Castro y a su hermano y sucesor Raúl.
Molina dirigió en Cuba el Centro Internacional de Restauración Neurológica (CIREN) y mantuvo una estrecha vinculación con la jerarquía del régimen cubano, pero rompió con el sistema en 1994, tras la salida de su hijo de la isla.
