El piloto finés Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) se mantiene líder del rally Acrópolis, séptima cita del mundial, después que abandonaran todos los pilotos que pudieran inquietarle en la lucha por la victoria.
La lista de bajas la inició el francés Sebastien Loeb (Citroen), cuando era tercero; la continuó el español Dani Sordo (Citroen), cuando era segundo a sólo tres segundos, y posteriormente cayó el noruego Petter Solberg (Citroen), cuando era segundo.
También dijeron adiós, a la espera de reengancharse mañana, los noruegos Henning Solberg (Ford) y Mads Otsberg (Subaru), que optaban a hacer podio.
Así, por el momento queda segundo el francés Sebastien Ogier (Citroen), a 1:40.1, mientras que en tercera posición se encuentra el finlandés Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) a 2:44.2, y eso que el viernes perdió tres minutos en el último tramo cuando era líder.
