Hoy se celebra el Día de La Rioja, en el que el presidente de la Comunidad, Pedro Sanz, pronunciará el discurso institucional y entregará la Medalla de La Rioja al director general de Würth España, Juan Ramírez, y la distinción de Riojano Ilustre al pelotari Titín III.
El presidente del Parlamento de La Rioja, José Ignacio Ceniceros, ha defendido que la reforma del Estatuto de Autonomía vele para que "la nueva norma establezca un equilibrio adecuado y justo con el resto de regiones que integran España". Ceniceros ha pronunciado en la localidad de Santa Coloma el pregón con motivo del Día de La Rioja, en un acto al que también ha asistido el presidente del Gobierno regional, Pedro Sanz, entre otras autoridades.
