El candidato del PNV a la reelección como lehendakari, Juan José Ibarretxe, ha arremetido hoy contra el pacto PSE-PP para la investidura de Patxi López, por ser una "cruzada para destruir", y un "intento serio de anulación de nuestra propia identidad nacional".
En su intervención en la sesión de investidura, Ibarretxe ha dedicado gran parte de su tiempo a criticar el pacto entre PP y PSE, y ha advertido de que "nos tendrá en frente quien pretenda destruir el camino recorrido y subordinar los intereses de Euskadi a los intereses de España".
El lehendakari en funciones, que ha tomado la palabra después del candidato socialista, ha vuelto a defender la Ley de Consulta y el denominado "Plan Ibarretxe", al opinar que, "tarde o temprano, si queremos arreglar las cosas, tendremos que retomarlos".
