Actualizado:
El importe de los efectos de comercio impagados (que no han sido reembolsados a su vencimiento) de las familias y las empresas que operan en España alcanzó los 701 millones de euros en noviembre de 2009, el 64,5 menos con respecto a al mismo mes de 2008.
Según el Instituto Nacional de Estadística, los efectos de comercio devueltos por impago sumaron 381.876, el 36% por ciento menos que el año pasado.
En noviembre hubo más de 8.673.962 millones de efectos vencidos, un 10,8 por ciento menos que en el mismo mes de 2008, y su importe alcanzó los 18.656 millones, una disminución del 28,9 por ciento.
El porcentaje de los efectos de comercio impagados sobre vencidos fue del 4,4 por ciento en el mes.
