La investidura del primer lehendakari socialista, Patxi López, se celebrará salvo sorpresas el próximo 5 de mayo. Por primera vez para el nombramiento del jefe del Ejecutivo vasco, cada uno de los 75 parlamentarios votará en pie desde su escaño y a viva voz.
Ayer, se cubrió un trámite más con la aprobación del dictamen sobre posibles incompatibilidades de los parlamentarios. El documento deberá ser ratificado por el pleno de la Cámara mañana, cuando su presidenta, Arantza Quiroga, anunciará de forma oficial la fecha para la investidura del lehendakari. Hoy López y el presidente del PP vasco, Antonio Basagoiti, se harán la foto oficial que rubrica el pacto para dar "estabilidad" al futuro Gobierno socialista.
La portavoz del actual Ejecutivo, Miren Azkarate, dijo ayer que "el frentismo" de PP y PSE es "día a día evidente".
Sobre el arresto del presunto jefe militar de ETA, Jurdan Martitegi, y otras 7 personas, dijo que demuestra que "ETA ha pasado a la historia".
El líder del PNV en Guipúzcoa, Joseba Egibar, dijo, por su parte, que la operación obedece a la "lógica policial", pero también a un "objetivo político y mediático" para cubrir la última polémica del Fiscal General del Estado, Cándido Conde Pumpido, con la Policía Nacional sobre las listas de Batasuna.
