La investigación policial apunta a que una mujer de 29 años, encontrada carbonizada ayer en un incendio en su vivienda de Mutxamel, murió en un episodio de violencia machista, han informado a EFE fuentes conocedoras del caso.
Aunque todavía no ha terminado la autopsia al cadáver calcinado ni ha concluido la inspección de un grupo especializado de la Guardia Civil para determinar si el incendio fue provocado o no, la principal hipótesis de los investigadores es que se trata de un crimen machista.
De hecho, tanto el ayuntamiento de Mutxamel, a las 13 horas, como la Subdelegación del Gobierno en Alicante, a las 12, han convocado sendas concentraciones de repulsa por este crimen.
De esta manera, la fallecida de Mutxamel se convertiría en la primera víctima de violencia machista del año en la provincia alicantina.
La mujer, natural de la cercana población de Sant Joan d'Alacant, donde viven sus padres, deja dos hijos, de 1 y 5 años, que se encuentran con los abuelos maternos, según fuentes municipales.
Por su parte, la pareja sentimental de la fallecida, un hombre de 45 años y natural de Burgos, fue ingresado por intoxicación de humos a causa del incendio, que podría haber provocado.
Las mismas fuentes municipales han informado de que ni la policía local ni los servicios sociales de Mutxamel tenían constancia de ninguna denuncia previa por supuestos malos tratos.
La mujer murió en el incendio de su vivienda, ubicado en un ático del número 12 de la calle Pau, donde se originó el fuego en torno a las 15 horas.
