El entrenador del Palmeiras, Vanderlei Luxemburgo, confirmó que el delantero brasileño Keirrison está "a punto" de fichar por el Barcelona.
"Esta alternativa, que sería su salida (de Keirrison) al Barcelona está a punto de concretarse", dijo Luxemburgo en su blog personal.
Según informan distintos medios, el traspaso podría rozar los 15 millones de euros.
El agente del jugador, Marcos Malaquías, se encontraba ayer en Barcelona negociando el traspaso con los dirigentes del equipo azulgrana,y algunos medios lo dan ya por hecho, e incluso podría ser anunciado en las próximas horas.
Sin embargo, todo hace apuntar a que estará poco tiempo en el club, puesto que el Barça tiene previsto incluirlo en la operación para fichar a Villa.
Emery, el técnico del Valencia, quiere a un delantero para suplir la posible marcha de Villa, y por eso el Barça quiere meter a Keirrison en la operación más una cantidad de dinero.
Keirrison fue el jugador revelación y el máximo goleador de la última Liga brasileña, con 21 tantos, cuando militaba en el Coritiba.
Llegó al Palmeiras al comienzo de la temporada, en la que ha marcado 13 goles en el campeonato paulista, seis en la Libertadores y cinco en la Liga brasileña, que suma siete jornadas.
