El piloto español Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) manifestó su deseo de "volver a montar en la moto" después de presenciar la carrera de Barcelona desde el hospital, y afronta el Gran Premio de Gran Bretaña convencido de que tiene que "pilotar con más cuidado este fin de semana".
"Han sido un par de semanas muy duras para mí, ver la carrera de Barcelona desde el hospital no fue divertido, por eso estoy deseando volver a montarme en la moto, aunque creo que tengo que pilotar con más cuidado este fin de semana", dijo el mallorquín.
Para Lorenzo "es como volver a empezar" después de sus últimas caídas, que le han obligado a recibir un injerto de piel en un dedo de la mano derecha.
El piloto español sufrió una grave caída durante los entrenamientos del Gran Premio de Cataluña y fue trasladado al hospital con un traumatismo craneal moderado con pérdida de conciencia.
