Protección Civil mantiene para hoy la alerta máxima de peligro de incendios en toda España, con unos niveles significativamente superiores a los normales en estas fechas, y con especial peligro en varias comunidades, entre ellas Castilla-La Mancha.
Según la estimación del Índice de Riesgo Meteorológico de incendios forestales, el mayor riesgo está en la autonomía de Castilla-La Mancha, en la Comunidad de Madrid, en el norte y este de Extremadura, en el sur y este de Castilla y León, en el suroeste de Aragón y en el interior de Andalucía.
Además, también están en alerta máxima las provincias occidentales de Andalucía, Castilla y León y Extremadura, así como en el noreste de Cataluña y el Pirineo oscense, según ha informado Protección Civil en un comunicado.
Medios estatales continúan actuando en la extinción de cuatro incendios en las comunidades de Extremadura, Andalucía, Castilla y León y La Rioja.
En concreto, la Unidad Militar de Emergencias (UME) del Ministerio de Defensa tiene desplegados 454 militares y está presente en los incendios de Nuñomoral (Cáceres) y Arenas de San Pedro (Ávila).
Por su parte, el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Medio Rural y Marino está actuando también en los incendios de Nuñomoral y Arenas de San Pedro, y, además, en los de Almonte (Huelva) y Hervias (La Rioja).
