La secretaria general de Instituciones Penitenciarias, Mercedes Gallizo, ha asegurado hoy que "los presos de ETA no son un bloque de cemento. La organización lo sabe y por eso intenta controlarlos".
En declaraciones a Onda Cero, según una nota de prensa de esta cadena de emisoras, Gallizo ha añadido: "Yo siempre digo que los presos de ETA están cumpliendo una condena que se les ha impuesto por parte de los tribunales, pero están también presos de la banda".
ETA, ha agregado Gallizo, obliga "de manera permanente" a los reclusos "a seguir sus directrices y a hacer determinadas pantomimas dentro de las prisiones para demostrar que apoyan lo que dicen los de fuera".
"Nosotros sabemos que esa unidad no es tal y que hay mucha gente que está ya muy cansada de esta situación", ha concluido la secretaria general de Prisiones.
