A un partido para concluir la Liga y con el Barcelona pendiente de obtener una última victoria que le aseguraría el título, su gran estrella, el argentino Leo Messi, ha asegurado hoy que ante el Valladolid, el equipo azulgrana debe ganar para no desperdiciar el trabajo de toda la Liga.
"Será complicado, pero hemos hecho tanto y hemos trabajado tanto que no nos podemos quedar ahora aquí. Esperemos que el partido se nos dé bien", ha expresado el argentino, que ha coincidido con David Villa en un acto promocional de la firma deportiva que patrocina a ambos futbolistas.
Messi ha subrayado que para asegurarse el título, el Barça debe "hacer lo que hemos hecho hasta ahora, y más delante de nuestra gente" en un final de Liga que "depende de nosotros".
Sentado junto a David Villa -"encajaría muy bien en el sistema de juego del Barça porque tiene una gran calidad", ha dicho-, Messi también ha defendido el rendimiento de su compañero Zlatan Ibrahimovic, el teórico 'nueve' titular del Barça. "Ibra lo ha hecho muy bien, los números así lo indican. Ha sido un buen jugador para el equipo, y en general, creo que el año de la delantera del Barça ha sido muy bueno".
Aspirante a la Bota de Oro, el trofeo que distingue al mejor goleador de Europa -"me gustaría lograrla, sería importantísimo para mí"-, Messi también ha prometido que Argentina rendirá por encima de las expectativas en el Mundial. "Se dicen muchas cosas de esta selección, pero nosotros demostraremos lo que somos y vamos a hacer un buen papel".
