Un joven de 29 años ha fallecido hoy y otras tres personas han resultado heridas de distinta consideración en un accidente de tráfico sufrido por una furgoneta portuguesa en el término municipal de Santas Martas (León), en la autovía A-231 (León-Burgos).
El siniestro se ha producido hacia las seis de la mañana a la altura del punto kilométrico 22,500 de la autovía A-231 (León-Burgos), donde el vehículo, Ford Transit, con matrícula 8084-ZA, ocupado por nueve personas se ha salido de la carretera, según han informado fuentes de la Subdelegación del Gobierno en León.
A consecuencia del impacto ha muerto en el acto un joven de 29 años, Manuel Silva Ferreira, de nacionalidad portuguesa, otra persona, española, está en estado grave, mientras que otras dos, de nacionalidad brasileña, están leves.
El suceso se ha producido al salirse de la vía la furgoneta en la que viajaba la víctima mortal por el margen izquierdo, volcar y chocar contra la valla protectora.
El conductor de la furgoneta resultó ileso, al igual que otros cuatro ocupantes de este vehículo, todos ellos portugueses.
