Una mujer de 39 años ha muerto en Sevilla por complicaciones derivadas de la gripe H1N1. La mujer, que estaba embarazada de 39 semanas, dio a luz por cesárea para salvar la vida del bebé.
La víctima ingresó en el hospital de Valme en Sevilla el pasado domingo, 16 de agosto, con fiebre alta, tos y dolor torácico.
Tres días después, su estado de salud obligó a los médicos a practicarla una cesárea para evitar que la enfermedad afectara también al bebé. Ahora el niño se encuentra en buen estado de salud y continúa en el centro hospitalario al a espera del alta médica.
Este nuevo caso de muerte por nueva gripe es el primero en Andalucía y el decimotercero en España.
