España será el primer mercado, junto al ruso, al que saldrá mañana la gran apuesta de Nokia, el N97, el primer móvil con acceso directo a su tienda de contenidos OVI y que competirá con el nuevo terminal de Apple, el iPhone 3GS, que estará a la venta al día siguiente, ambos de la mano de Telefónica.
El N97, definido por los directivos de Nokia como un "ordenador real", es un móvil en línea con las tendencias de tecnología táctil, pero que incluye un teclado completo que hace sencillo y rápido el uso de la mensajería.
Su pantalla se puede personalizar mediante los llamados "widgets" o accesos directos a aplicaciones, uno de los cuales permitirá disponer de las noticias más importantes producidas por la Agencia EFE.
Además de ser un móvil con todas las posibilidades de conectividad a través de HSPDA, Wifi y Bluetooth -lo que le permite ser utilizado con tecnología fija y móvil-, cuenta con una potente batería que posibilita al usuario trabajar con una amplia autonomía.
Este móvil ha sido escogido como "buque insignia" de este fabricante y con él nace el concepto "Mobile Computing", hacer de un móvil un ordenador.
Cuenta con cámara de tecnología óptica Carl Zeiss de 5 megapíxeles, vídeo de alta definición, GPS con sistema de mapas con visión 2D, 3D y virtuales y una memoria de 32 gigabytes ampliables a 48.
Pero además ha sido escogido para presentar la tienda OVI de Nokia, con la que este fabricante responde al reto de la reducción de ventas de móviles por la maduración del mercado y entra de lleno en el mundo de los servicios.
El acceso a OVI es sencillo, a través de una aplicación a la que se llega a un sitio que tiene ya más de 20.000 contenidos, tanto gratuitos como de pago.
El N97 se estrena en España y Rusia, pero pronto estará con otros operadores y en el mercado libre, mientras que el iPhone 3GS todavía no se ha presentado aunque su llegada está prevista para el próximo viernes 19 y seguirá siendo exclusivo de Telefónica.
