Rusia lanzó este jueves al espacio la nave Soyuz TMA-14 con tres tripulantes a bordo, los integrantes de la 19 expedición a la Estación Espacial Internacional (EEI) y el turista espacial Charles Simonyi, que repetirá estancia en la plataforma orbital.
El lanzamiento se produjo a las 14.49 hora de Moscú (11.49 GMT) con ayuda de un cohete portador Soyuz FG desde el cosmódromo de Baikonur, en Kazajistán.
El acoplamiento de la Soyuz a la EEI está previsto para las 16.14 hora de Moscú (13.14 GMT) y será retransmitido en directo por la televisión rusa como se viene haciendo desde septiembre de 2006, cuando a la plataforma orbital viajó la misión número 14 con la primera turista espacial mujer, Anousha Ansari.
Simonyi, quien ha tenido que desembolsar unos 35 millones de dólares por su segundo viaje espacial a la estación espacial, regresará a la Tierra el próxima 7 de abril a bordo de la Soyuz TMA-13 junto a la tripulación saliente, integrada por el ruso Yuri Lonchakov y el estadounidense Michael Fincke.
