A sus sesenta años y tras el trasplante de riñón que sufrió en 2005, el piloto austríaco de Fórmula 1 Niki Lauda sigue dando gas a su vida y será pronto padre por cuarta vez.
Los medios austríacos informaron hoy de que el tricampeón mundial y su esposa Birgit, treinta años menor que él, serán padres el próximo mes de octubre.
Para el ex piloto y actual propietario de una línea aérea será su cuarto retoño, mientras que su mujer será madre por primera vez.
Lauda y su compañera se conocieron en 2004, cuando ella entró a trabajar como azafata en Niki, la aerolínea propiedad del ex piloto.
Un año después, ella le donó un riñón, algo que Lauda calificó como "lo más increíble que me ha ocurrido en la vida".
El empresario tiene ya dos hijos, de 30 y 28 años, fruto de un anterior matrimonio, así como un tercer vástago nacido de una relación extra matrimonial.
