La Bolsa de Tokio cerró hoy con ganancias por tercera jornada consecutivo y empujó al índice Nikkei a su nivel más alto en cinco meses gracias en parte a un yen debilitado que favoreció a los exportadores de tecnología y de automóviles.
El Nikkei se elevó 101,60 puntos o un 0,71 por ciento hasta los 14.440,14 enteros, mientras que el Topix, que agrupa a todos los valores de la primera sección, ganó 16,96 puntos o un 1,20 por ciento hasta los 1.425,10 enteros.
Según agentes de la Bolsa citados por la agencia local Kyodo, la calma en el mercado de divisas, donde el dólar se mantuvo en los 105 yenes, ayudó hoy a ganar terreno a los fabricantes de vehículos, de alta tecnología y otros exportadores japoneses.
Entre ellos, los gigantes Honda y Toyota avanzaron casi un 2 por ciento y Mitsubishi Motors un 3,94 por ciento.
Para Yutaka Shiraki, estratega de Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, "las acciones se mantuvieron más fuertes de lo que se esperaba".
El pronóstico de beneficios de muchas compañías japonesas para el presente año fiscal está basado en que el dólar estadounidense se sitúe en 100 yenes, por lo que la cotización actual de esta divisa a 105 yenes tranquiliza a unos inversores.
El director de valores de Nikko Cordial Securities, Hiroichi Nishi, dijo que al mercado de valores le ha influido los "recientes cambios del mercado de divisas" y las preocupaciones por la inflación.
Hoy, entre otros valores, ganaron terreno las aseguradoras, el transporte marítimo y los metales no ferrosos mientras que las farmacéuticas y las maquinarias de precisión lo perdieron.
En términos de valor el líder de hoy fue el grupo financiero Mizuho que ganó 37.000 yenes, o un 6,68 por ciento, hasta los 591.000 yenes.
El líder de volumen fue otro gran grupo financiero, Mitsubishi UFJ, que subió 51 yenes, o un 4,73 por ciento, hasta los 1.129 yenes.
En la primera sección 1.018 valores ganaron terreno frente a 586 que lo perdieron y 114 que se quedaron como estaban.
