El musical "Nine", con Penélope Cruz, Nicole Kidman y Sophia Loren, se exhibirá en la sección Berlinale Special, en la que asimismo se proyectará "Revolución", película firmada por un colectivo de cineastas mexicanos como Fernando Eimbcke, Gael García Bernal y Carlos Reygadas.
El filme del estadounidense Rob Marshall aportará el máximo espectáculo a la sección, que incorpora títulos de procedencias, épocas y estilos diversos, incluida la restauración de "Metrópolis", de Fritz Lang, de acuerdo a la copia hallada recientemente en Buenos Aires y que se proyectará ante la Puerta de Brandeburgo.
En el aire está cuáles y cuántas de las estrellas de "Nine" acudirán a su proyección, indicaron fuentes del festival, que con motivo de la 60 edición de la Berlinale han apostado por la variedad en la selección de producciones para la sección Special.
A los títulos mencionados se une "L'autre Dumas", de Safu Nebbou e interpretada por Gérard Depardieu, con rango de estreno mundial, así como el documental "Tanzträume", centrado en el icono de la danza contemporánea Pina Bausch, fallecida en 2009.
Otro documental incluido en la sección es el británico-español "How much does your building weigh, Mr. Foster", de Norberto López y Carlos Carcas, alrededor del arquitecto Norman Foster.
La dirección de la Berlinale reveló en los días pasados 25 de las 26 películas a competición, entre las que se encuentran directores consagrados como Michael Winterbottom y los chinos Zhang Yimou y Wan Quan'an, ganadores del Oso de Oro en anteriores ediciones, como la debutante argentina Natalia Smirnoff, con "Rompecabezas".
Wan -asimismo Oso de Oro en 2007, con "La boda de Tuya"- inaugurará el 11 de febrero el festival con "Tuan Yuan" ("Apart together"), a lo que seguirá el desfile de los 26 aspirantes a premio, entre ellos Roman Polanski y los estadounidenses Rob Epstein y Noah Baumbach.
La lista de concursantes incluye una buena dosis de producciones escandinavas y asiáticas, así como varias co-producciones europeas con participación alemana.
Fuera de concurso, en la sección Panorama, se exhibirán las españolas "El mal ajeno", de Oskar Santos, con Eduardo Noriega, Belén Rueda y Angie Cepeda, y "Nacidas para sufrir", de Miguel Albadalejo, con Adriana Ozores, Petra Martínez, Malena Alterio y Ricard Borrás.
En ese mismo apartado se presentarán la brasileña "Besouro", de Joao Daniel Tikhomiroff, y la argentina "Por tu culpa", de Anahí Berneri.
