La dirección y los sindicatos de Nissan han acordado hoy darse "unas semanas" de tiempo para buscar las medidas no traumáticas que permitan dar salida al excedente de mil trabajadores de las plantas de Barcelona, una vez cerrado el plan de bajas voluntarias y prejubilaciones.
Ambas partes han celebrado hoy, con la mediación de la Generalitat, una reunión para abordar cuál es la situación actual de la compañía y qué medidas se pueden tomar para redimensionar la plantilla en 2.800 trabajadores, el nivel que la empresa considera óptimo para garantizar su viabilidad.
En el encuentro, que ha durado cerca de cuatro horas, la compañía ha confirmado que estaba dispuesta a presentar un expediente de regulación de empleo (ERE) para despedir a unas mil personas, que es el sobrante que tiene la empresa tras la aplicación del plan de bajas voluntarias y prejubilaciones, al que se han adherido 650 personas.
Los representantes sindicales, sin embargo, han defendido que es posible reducir este excedente mediante la aplicación de medidas alternativas no traumáticas, como la ampliación del plazo para apuntarse a las bajas voluntarias o la rebaja de la edad de prejubilación.
Finalmente, empresa y sindicatos han acordado darse unas semanas de plazo para estudiar conjuntamente estas medidas.
Entretanto, la multinacional se ha comprometido a no presentar ningún expediente.
