Orange lanzará un teléfono Blackberry de "pago por servicio" como medida para entrar en el mercado de los particulares, además del mercado de los negocios, según informó la compañía el jueves.
Orange dijo que crearía su primer servicio de Blackberry de "pago por servicio" en Reino Unido con el teléfono inteligente Pearl 8120 por 145 libras esterlinas (unos 160 euros).
Casi dos tercios de los consumidores de Reino Unido están utilizando servicios en el que solo se paga lo que se consume, según el director del servicio de la compañía Orange, Pippa Dunn. La mayoría tiene entre 16 y 24 años.
El servicio podría suponer un desafío para el iPhone de Apple en Reino Unido.
La Blackberry la fabrica Research in Motion y France Telecom es el propietario de Orange.
