La comisión presupuestaria del Bundestag, el Parlamento alemán, corrigió esta madrugada apreciablemente el borrador de los presupuestos nacionales para 2009 y aprobó un nuevo endeudamiento de 18.500 millones de euros.
Ello supone un aumento del endeudamiento de 8.000 millones de euros sobre las previsiones iniciales del ministro federal de Finanzas, Peer Steinbrück, corrección que ha sido necesaria para afrontar las consecuencias de la crisis financiera internacional.
Tras realizar otras correcciones, los presupuestos alemanes para el año próximo suman así finalmente 290.000 millones de euros, 1.600 millones de euros más que los calculados en el borrador inicial del Gobierno germano.
El acuerdo para cerrar definitivamente los presupuestos alemanes para el año próximo se alcanzó después de más de 12 horas de negociaciones en la comisión parlamentaria con los votos favorables de los partidos de la gran coalición, cristianodemócratas (CDU), socialcristianos bávaros (CSU) y socialdemócratas (SPD).
