La increíble actuación de Artur Miller en Portland Trail Blazers, con sus 52 puntos, ayudó a su equipo a ganar 114-112 a Dallas Mavericks en la noche del sábado.
Con la puntuación de Miller sus compañeros parecieron contribuir con poco, aunque Lamarcus Aldridge pudo arañar también 21 puntos para los Blazers. Rudy Fernández jugó 17 minutos y anotó 3 puntos.
Por parte de Dallas Mavericks, el máximo anotador fue Dirk Nowitzki, que logró 28 puntos.
Sacramento Kings perdió 103-96 ante Charlotte Bobcats pese a que Kevin Martin anotó 31 puntos y Sergio Rodríguez contribuyó con nueve en tan sólo 13 minutos.
Los Bobcats fueron superiores merced a los 38 puntos de Gerald Wallace o los 17 puntos y 10 rebotes de Nazr Mohammed.
Además, Memphis Grizzlies fue derrotado por New Orleans Hornets 109-102, y eso que tanto Zach Randolph como Marc Gasol anotaron 25 puntos cada uno.
New Orleans contó con la ayuda de David West con 22 puntos; Emeka Okafor, con 21 puntos y 10 rebotes; y Predrag Stojakovic, con 20 puntos.
En otros partidos de la jornada, Orlando Magic destronó a Atlanta Hawks de la primera posición en la División del Sureste con una arrolladora victoria de 104-86.
Los Magic se apoderaron del primer puesto con su tercer triunfo consecutivo sobre Atlanta esta temporada.
Dwight Howard anotó 31 puntos y atrapó 19 rebotes para los Magic.
"Creo que hemos mostrado destellos de buen juego todo el año", dijo Howard a periodistas.
Además, Miami Heat perdió por 95-84 frente a Milwaukee Bucks.
Por último, Washington Wizards ganó 106-96 a New York Knicks.
