El precio del suelo ha bajado el 7,7% en el primer trimestre de 2008 con respecto a igual periodo del año anterior, y se sitúa en 250,9 euros por metro cuadrado, informó hoy el Ministerio de Vivienda.
En ese mismo periodo, las transacciones de suelo bajaron el 30,6% frente al primer trimestre de 2007, hasta 8.892 operaciones, que representan una superficie transmitida de 14,9 millones de metros cuadrados, por un valor de 4.245,9 millones de euros.
Por Comunidades Autónomas, el 27% de la superficie transmitida corresponde a Cataluña (4.039,2 m²), el 15,6 por ciento a Andalucía (2.323,3 m²), y el 10,3 por ciento a Castilla-La Mancha (1.538,1 m²).
Cataluña es la comunidad autónoma en la que las transacciones alcanzaron un valor más elevado, 1.163,1 millones de euros, seguida de Andalucía (716,1 millones de euros) y Madrid (525,4 millones de euros).
Los precios más altos por metro cuadrado corresponden a los municipios de más de 50.000 habitantes de las provincias de Álava (1.110,7 euros), Barcelona (1.098,5 euros), Madrid (956,5 euros) y Zaragoza (953,6 euros), y los más bajos se dan en las de Jaén (273,8 euros), Orense (371,7 euros) y La Rioja (402,3).
